EMPLOYMENT – REGIONAL SALES MANAGER: OHIO REGION

G.W. Becker, Inc. (GWBI) is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager: Ohio Region who will be responsible for continual profitable sales growth by creating new strategic business relationships, establishing and expanding a sales network, working directly with major accounts and managing the quotation process.

 

Essential Functions

  • Coordinates all sales activities pertaining to assigned customer base, either on an account basis as assigned or geographic territory as determined.
  • Generates inquiries, estimates projects, proposal development, follow-up, sales closure, order entry as needed, and scheduling or coordinating with the customer for on-site projects.
  • Maintains accurate and timely information in the customer relationship management software database in addition to current customer equipment lists,
  • Develops existing accounts.
  • Markets and promotes GWBI products and services.
  • Seeks new customer development.

Competencies

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms· and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Regular hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required as needed.

TRAVEL

This position requires up to 50% travel.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing or related discipline; successful prior experience in capital equipment sales and estimating; or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Current valid driver’s license, safe driving record and reliable mode of transportation.
