5 & 10 TON SINGLE GIRDER CRANES (#35440 & 35441)

Project Description:
G.W. Becker, Inc. commissioned two new packaged cranes, a 5-ton and a 10-ton, 3-motion, Class ‘C’ service, top-running single girder bridge cranes for a local facility in Hermitage, PA. Both cranes feature CMCO Shaw-Box electric wire rope hoists, each with a 60′ span and 20′ of lift. The installation also included two 250-foot Conductix Safe-Lec runway electrification systems. This turnkey project covered the delivery, self-performing installation, load testing, and commissioning of both cranes, ensuring they meet all current applicable CMAA, OSHA, ANSI/ASME, and NEC specifications.
