20 Ton Top-Running Double Girder Crane (#26451)

Project Description:
G.W. Becker, Inc. commissioned a new 20 ton electrical overhead traveling crane for a sand and gravel producer in Western Pennsylvania. This 3-motion, 43′-6″ span, heavy service EOT crane has a 20 ton capacity wire rope hoist with 17′-5″ of available lift and was designed to be utilized in the customer’s equipment maintenance facility. A new Conductix-Safe-Lec 2 runway electrification system was installed on the existing runway. This turnkey project included the new EOT crane, runway electrification, runway rail and self-performing installation to meet all current applicable CMAA, OSHA, ANSI/ASME, and NEC specifications.
