10 Ton Top-Running Double Girder Bridge Cranes (#23768-69)

Product Description:

G.W. Becker, Inc. commissioned two 10 ton top-running double girder overhead bridge cranes with electric wire rope hoist, a new runway rail and runway electrification system for a specialty titanium producer in Western Pennsylvania. These new cranes are used in the customer’s coal center facility. These 3-motion, CMAA Class C Service cranes have a span of 91′ and a lift of 18′ and are installed on new runway systems, designed and manufactured by G.W. Becker, Inc. Runways are equipped with two runs of 600′ long of 30# ASCE rail with j-bolts and splices. This turnkey project included application assistance, design, manufacturing, and installation of the new cranes to meet all current applicable CMAA, OSHA, ANSI/ASME, and NEC specifications.
