Project Description:
G.W. Becker, Inc. commissioned a new 50/10 ton top-running double girder overhead crane for a steel facility in western Pennsylvania. This Class D service, 4-motion electric overhead traveling crane features an 80-foot span, 29-foot lift height, 425 feet of runway electrification, drop zone lighting, and a power-rotating lower block. The crane is equipped with a 50-ton main hoist and a 10-ton auxiliary hoist. This turnkey project included the crane’s installation and load testing, ensuring full compliance with all applicable Customer Standards, CMAA, OSHA, ANSI/ASME, and NEC specifications.
