10 TON SINGLE GIRDER CRANE (#25609)

Project Description:
G.W. Becker, Inc. commissioned a new 10 ton electric overhead traveling crane for a tool and die manufacturer in Western Pennsylvania. This 3-motion moderate service top-running single girder crane was designed to service a water jet cutting machine and was installed on an existing runway system of 52′ span and 16′ of lift. Two new 90′ runway rails were also provided. The crane is operated by a handheld radio control with 2-step motion pushbutons and has a pendant as a backup. This turnkey project included the new EOT crane, runway electrification and installation to meet all current applicable CMAA, OSHA, ANSI/ASME, and NEC specifications.
