Project Description:
G.W. Becker, Inc. commissioned four (4) new one (1) ton overhead cranes as part of a phase 2 project for an aerospace parts supplier in South Carolina. These new 3-motion, moderate service underhung single girder EOT cranes were designed to be utilized in the customer’s parts machining facility and were installed on three (3) new free-standing runway systems specifically designed to accommodate these cranes. This turnkey project included the new EOT crane, runway design and manufacturing, runway electrification, and self-performing installation to meet all current applicable CMAA, OSHA, ANSI/ASME and NEC specifications.
