Project Description:
G.W. Becker, Inc. commissioned three (3) new 25/5 ton top-running double girder overhead cranes with dual electric wire rope hoists and a new runway electrification system for a pre-engineered metal buildings producer in West Virginia. These 4-motion, CMAA Class D Service cranes were designed and manufactured by G.W. Becker Inc. and have a span of 59′ and lifts of 38′-5″ and 32′. These are hazardous location cranes and are equipped with spark resistant features. This turnkey project included application assistance, design, manufacturing, and self-performing installation of all the new cranes to meet all current applicable CMAA, OSHA, ANSI/ASME, and NEC specifications.
