Project Description:
G.W. Becker, Inc. commissioned a new 25 ton top-running double girder overhead crane for a steel facility in north-western Pennsylvania. This 5-motion Class D service top-running double girder cranes have a 51″ span and 55′ of lift. This crane is equipped with a 25 ton main hoist, an auxiliary hoist that lifts up to 15 ton, and an has additional 3 ton pony hoist This turnkey project included the new crane, dismantle and removal of the prior existing crane, installation and load testing on the new crane to meet all current applicable Customer Standards, CMAA, OSHA, ANSI/ASME, and NEC specifications.
