10 Ton Overhead Cranes & Runways (#23870)

Project Description:
G.W. Becker, Inc. commissioned new 10 ton 3-motion heavy service electric overhead traveling cranes for a machining and fabricating firm.  This turnkey crane project included (2) two 10 ton top-running double girder cranes.  Operated by pendant control, each overhead crane utilized R&M Hoist componentry.  Included in the project was the design and installation of (2) two new freestanding runway system of 125’-0” long; 25’-0” column centers; approximately 12’-3” overall height. Each aisle was designed for the addition of two (2) semi-gantry cranes for future considerations.  G.W. Becker, Inc. manufactured & provided each crane, each runway system, provided rail & electrification, and installation.
