4 TON AUTOMATED OVERHEAD CRANE (#21970)

Project Description:
G.W. Becker, Inc. commissioned a new 4 ton automated, outdoor electric overhead traveling crane for a large municipal waste water treatment facility in Northeast Ohio.  This 3-motion EOT crane was designed to be fully automated, utilized for the wastewater treatment facility’s grit tank cleaning process and installed on a new outdoor runway system of 67’ span and 35’ of lift.  Designed and manufactured for severe service duty, the crane has hardware and software components to provide operator initiated automated grit tank cleaning routines.  This turnkey project included the new EOT crane, runway electrification, and installation.
